Sweet Lassi (Yogurt Drink)
Lassi is a yogurt based shakes. We can find many varieties of lassi. The most common are plain, sweet lassi, mango and banana.
Lassi is not only extremely easy and quick to make but also very refreshing and cooling to beat the heat of summer.It aids digestion and is a healthy addition to any balanced diet.
You can top or garnish your lassi with your Favorite dry fruits. I like to add pistachio or walnut to mine.
Lets learn how to make this simple and easy amazing drink (Lassi).
- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 3 teaspoons sugar(or to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
- Few drops of rose water(optional)
- Combine yogurt, sugar, water, cardamom and rosewater in blender and blend until smooth.
- Add crushed ice and blend 1 minute.
- Serve chill.
